A tradition carried forward, one fold at a time.

The Danish star — also known as the Froebel star — is a folded paper ornament cherished across Northern Europe. My Danish grandmother introduced them to me, and they quickly became more than decoration. They are a direct link to my heritage — a craft that feels like home, even generations later.

What began as a way to honor that heritage became a practice I return to again and again — slowing down, working with my hands, and creating pieces meant to be kept, not consumed. Each fold connects me to those before me who valued simplicity, beauty, and meaning in the things they made.

More than a season.

While Danish stars have long been tied to Christmas, I believe their place extends far beyond the holidays. They can be part of a window that catches the morning light, a mobile honoring someone you’ve lost, or a meaningful gift marking a life milestone.

Whether they’re hung, displayed, or tucked into a special place, they hold the same quiet beauty: a reminder that something small, made with care, can last for years — even generations.

From my hands to your home - welcome to ElmntCP2.
